Stop Picking Your Nose!

Stop Picking Your Nose!

March 24, 2020 by Kim Fournier

With the COVID 19 pandemic in full gear, and since handwashing is the single most effective way to stop the spread of communicable disease, lets review when should we wash your hands?

-often!..and at the minimum…

-after blowing your nose (there are tons of germs in your nose – that is the point – the nose hairs are filters)
-when you get home before touching anything else
-when you enter a building, office, or a friend’s house (so that you are not bringing IN bugs)
-when you leave a building (so that you are not bringing bugs to a dif location)
-before cooking, touching food, eating, or putting anything in your mouth
-before & after going to the washroom or changing diapers
-when your hands are dirty

NEVER EVER touch your face, eyes, ears, nose, or mouth without washing your hands.

STOP now, any habit of picking your teeth, playing with your lips, rubbing your eyes, sticking your finger in your ears and picking your nose! This has never been hygienic, not during a pandemic, not EVER!

And .. leave the phone at home!!! It kinda defeats the whole purpose when you wash your hands diligently, but constantly touch your phone. Instead .. just talk to a real person ?

Testimonials

…thanks to you for the excellent 7 Steps to Emergency Preparedness for Families. It is one I know everyone here (Fort McMurray) could have used before our big wildfire in 2016! While it’s too late for that one, we are still dealing with the aftermath …

Mayor of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Melissa Blake

Extremely important information. It can ease anxiety during emergencies which is extremely important. Well outlined and easy to read. Author knows her subject and conveys it in a very practical way.

Dr. Hegillman

This book is exactly what we, and other families, need. It is to-the-point, practical, and thoroughly useful.
